Why opt against hiring a full-time designer?
Hiring a full-time senior-level designer costs over $100,000 annually, including benefits. Finding one can be challenging, and there may not be a steady workflow, leading to paying for idle time. Our monthly plan allows you to pause and resume your subscription, ensuring payment only for active work.
Is there a restriction on the number of requests I can make?
Once subscribed, you can add unlimited design requests to your queue, and they will be delivered sequentially.
Are there specific types of design work not covered by DesignRays?
DesignRays excludes the following design tasks: document design (medical forms, etc.), complex packaging, extensive print design (magazines, books, etc.), complex 2d animation. Regarding 3D Digital Artwork plan, while we don't handle complex 3D product modeling, we can find someone who can.
What if I only need to make a single design request?
That's fine. Once you're done, feel free to pause your subscription and resume it when you have more design needs. Don't let any remaining subscription time go to waste.
In which design programs do you work?
All requests are designed using Figma, After Effects, Photoshop and Blender.
How can I make design requests?
DesignRays provides flexibility in design requests through Trello. Clients commonly submit requests directly on Trello, share Google docs or wireframes, or even record brief Loom videos instead of written briefs. Essentially, anything linkable or shareable in Trello is acceptable.
What happens if I'm not satisfied with the design?
No problem! We'll keep refining the design until you're completely satisfied.
How fast will I receive my designs?
Typically, most requests are fulfilled within two days or less, though more intricate ones may require additional time.
Who's behind DesignRays?
You might be surprised to hear this, but DesignRays is actually an agency of one. This means you'll work directly with me, founder of DesignRays.
Is there a refund policy if I am dissatisfied with the service?
As the work is of high quality, no refunds will be provided.
Can we sign NDA first?
Of course, that's not a problem at all. An NDA may be concluded either before or at the beginning of our cooperation.
